Contagion shows local infectious-disease and environmental conditions for educational purposes. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
Nothing on our servers. Contagion has no backend, no account system, and no analytics. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information.

Your coordinates are sent only to the public data providers listed below, solely to return conditions for that point. They are not stored by the app, not linked to any identifier, and never used for tracking or advertising. You can use the app without location by choosing a state manually, and you can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services.
When you load an area, the app makes read-only requests to:
These requests include only what each service needs (a state name or a latitude/longitude). Please review each provider’s own privacy terms for how they handle request logs.
The app is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.
Medical disclaimer. Contagion presents community-level surveillance data for general awareness and education. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis or personal medical advice. Always consult a qualified clinician or official public-health guidance for decisions about your health.
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
